How to do it

Pick a circuit at your flash level. Climb each problem again and again until it's perfect - no hesitation, no readjusting hands or feet, and complete control - then move to the next. Rest a minute or two between climbs. Aim to perfect 5-6 problems.

Who it’s for

Repetition until it’s clean. Most climbers move on the moment they top something, which leaves all the movement quality on the table.

Common mistakes

  • Accepting a scrappy top. No hesitation, no readjusting, complete control. Otherwise climb it again.
  • Moving on too early. Perfect the problem before the next one.
  • Choosing a circuit that’s too hard. Flash level, so perfection is reachable.

How to progress

Harder circuits, or fewer repeats to reach perfect. Five or six problems climbed properly is a full session.
