How to do it
Pick 2-3 hard single moves or short boulders near your limit. Rest 3-4 minutes between attempts, until you feel fresh again, and stop as soon as your movement starts to get worse. This is a short hard block, not a volume session.
Who it’s for
A short, hard block when you don’t have time for a full limit session. Two or three moves, long rests, and you’re done in twenty minutes.
Common mistakes
- Treating it as volume. Two or three moves. Stop when the quality drops.
- Short rests. Three to four minutes, until you feel fresh.
- Doing it tired. It goes at the start, after a proper warm-up.
How to progress
Harder moves, not more of them. If you’re getting through lots of attempts, the rests are too short or the moves too easy.
