The four weeks

Weeks one to three train finger strength, pulling strength and stability on the same days, and each week asks a bit more of you. Week four is lighter: the same days with less work, so you start the next block fresh. The standard version leaves out the high-risk exercises. If you've bouldered for more than three years, climb 7A (V6) or harder and nothing is sore, pick Harder: it adds Max hangs (added weight) and Wrist and forearm stretch + Lat and pec doorway stretch + Frog stretch.

Weeks 1 to 3

Week 2: Add 2 kg to any hang you finished with time to spare in both sessions last week, and swap one limit problem for a harder one. Week 3: Your heaviest week. Keep the same hangs and attempts, at the best loads you've managed.
